maybe its a dietery supplement and not a medication which in turn would make it harder to find if your looking under medication categories... it looks like a vitamin or something.
Just a thought!
It was found in a bottle of fiber laxative tablets (non Rx) with the logo 477 (I know those are mfg by Perrigo).
All indications are that the tablet is from the US. And I would guess it is a fiber type product or a vitamin.
Appreciate all the help.
Good point about where to look. Does anyone know of a good place to research non-medicinal/supplement tablets?
Great observations. Thank you, wondering2 and noware.

Very
true - supplements are difficult to find. Most of them don't have
imprints, so they are impossible to positively identify. Imprints
are not required by law on supplements or vitamins. But if the
vitamin or supplement has an imprint and the pill is not really
obscure, it's included in the databases. See next comment.

If the non-medicinal vitamin or supplement has an imprint, most databases include these substances. I think the biggest problem is that there are so many vitamins and supplements, and it would be difficult to identify and include all of the ones with imprints. Same with the OTC meds which are required to have imprints. So many OTCs are made by very small manufacturers, and it's hard to track everything.
The RX meds are the easiest to find in the databases
after the pills have been on the market for about six months. I
guess RX meds are given priority since they require a
prescription. OTC meds, supplements and vitamins are deemed safe for the general
population; therefore they are not as well documented in the databases.
if anyone's interested, this caplet is a 625mg fiber (calcium polycarbophil) caplet made by 'american fare'....
Tyfoon, thank you very much for the pill ID and manufacturer/distributor.
I am very interested and have looked unsuccessfully for quite a while now for this imprint.
I appreciate your taking the time to post and let us know what G 147 is. Thanks again.

So far I can't find G 147 in the databases. And I'm not familiar with this particular "G" logo.
Is the pill from the US or another country? Do you have an idea what medication the pill should be? That information would help us do more research.
Thanks for including the tablet measurements. It's a rather large pill, so that rules out a lot of medications.
Any other help you can provide will be appreciated.
