anyone have any idea why pharmer doesn't have temazepam listed under the benzo's from what i understand it is one of the strongest benzo's out there i would think that it would warrant a spot on the list
Are these prescribed mostly for sleep?
I have never gotten RXed any, just wondering.
--I am not a professional, I know by experience only--
I found the info I was looking for, here if someone else want to read.
I think so, they go by the name restoril..so maybe they make you rest...i dont feel a thing from them..but people tell me they work very nicely.
I am not a Dr. I just play one on TV.
Restoril is only indicated for short term treatment of insomnia generally 7-10 days. It is a Sedative/Hypnotic. Im pretty sure its just as safe as other benzos to be used for extended periods of time also. Ive been Rx'd it for a long time. It is one of the more potent Benzodiazepines, but seeing that it is only indicated for sleep it isnt that popular or well known.
restoril
Heres a link. Its available in two new non-generic strengths 7.5mg and 22.5mg. (15mg and 30mg are available in generic)
Oh yea, one other thing. I actually have less "hangover" effects from 15mg Restoril than I do from either 5mg or 10mg Ambien and sleep just as well without the crazy dreams like on Ambien.
my first dose of these. 15mg is what he wrote for. Hoping I get some good sleep tonight. I'll let ya'll know my experience tomorrow. night night
lol

ps: (ya'll) is southern for you all. Just wanted ya'll to know :)
worked fine for me.

I know theres info on the site about it if you search for it . Im not shur why it isnt on the list. I asked the same thing about methadone. I believe its every hard work to add new meds to the list. Having to find every maker and ever pill.
