SP 39 Tablet

Please measure the tablet lengthwise. The measurement will help include or rule out certain meds. And width and thickness would be nice too (but those are kind of hard to measure without calipers).

Millimeters are best, but if all you have is a ruler with inches, give us the measurement of the longest side as close as you can determine.

Thank you.

Measurements

Tedi12470, thanks for the very nice images and the measurements.

We still don't know what SP 39 is, but now we know what to include or exclude.

It looks like Vicodin and generics but is larger. I'm not familiar with the size of hydrocodone combined with more than 500 mg APAP, but I imagine some of those pills are about the same size as yours. I'm measuring your tablet at approximately 19 mm long, 9 mm wide and 7 mm thick. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Besides hydrocodone with a whopping dose of acetaminophen, the tablet could be 750 mg methocarbamol or even an antibiotic. I found two images on Pharmer.org that match the measurements:

N/A Type: Muscle Relaxant Class: RX Size (mm): 19 X 8 X 7 Comment: Image courtesy of 4andsic. Imprint GG101

Methocarbamol

  N/A Type: Antibiotic Class: RX Size (mm): 19 X 9 X 7 Comment: Image courtesy of 4andsic. Imprint 93089

Sulfamethoxazole, Trimethoprim

[Thank you, 4andsic, for your beautiful images and measurementsCool]

Generic Darvocet-N 100 also matches the measurements but those tabs aren't scored. And there could be hundreds of other pills that approximate the size.

So we are back to square one looking for a relatively large tablet that's probably quite new and not yet in the databases. We'll keep looking and will find your pill eventually.

Yeah I didn't get any

Yeah I didn't get any results when I posted it here for you, but I mistakenly said it was blue..... oops : (  Me and kirby had a small discussion on it but to not much avail unfortunatly, I figued if he didn't know it then no one would be able to ID it, I can think of a couple more people that may be able to help but it's still a long shot, I'm sure sooner or later (most likely later) we'll find an answer from someone.

Perhaps this should be added to the "most wanted" list?

Forgot to mention this in my

Forgot to mention this in my last post. But does the pill have a unusual smell? Most antibotics have a fairly offensive odor (penicillin, bactrim, cephalexin, etc.... good god has anyone else ever got a whiff of cephalexin?)
