I found a white oval pill marked 10. Other side has a diamond on it. Anyone know what this is?

10 w/star

This pill is VALDECOXIB (Bextra®),  a drug used to reduce inflammation and ease mild to moderate pain for such conditions as arthritis or painful menstrual cycles. Generic valdecoxib tablets are not available.

You can view the image at www.chw.healthinkonline.com. Go to the drug reference and pick 10 on the "marking" and find Bextra.

Bextra

I'd like to comment that Bextra was withdrawn from the US market on April 7, 2005, due to the potential for serious adverse effects such as an increased risk of heart attacks and possible fatal skin reactions.  More info at http://www.pharmer.org/node/801
