IF somebody can help me identify this tablet i would be grateful. It was found in the UK and most likely from a UK manufacturer. It is a tablet, oblong shape and has the markings MGE on it. Someone else has asked me to research this for them so thats all the info i have at the moment.
Thanks
Jon
Very bright yellow - TAS on one side 500 on the other this oblong pill has rounded squared corners if that makes sense - is about the size of a centrum vitamin pill - does anyone know what it is?
TAS 500 is Extra Strength Tylenol Allergy Sinus (multi-symptom Relief), a yellow caplet made by Mcneil Consumer Products of Canada
As an aside, you probably should have posted this question directly as a new topic instead of appending on to this topic.

You guys have it wrong, it hasn't got those markings on the side. It's a UK pill I just found, it seems to be causing a lot of problems for people to ID but I checked my drug cabinet and it's from a packet of "Migraleve Duo", it's made by a company called Charwell Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Yellow, oblong capsule with the markings "MGE" on the side.
I hope this helps.
thank you.
Thank you so much for the pill ID, c4bforhire!
We appreciate your taking the time to register and post. It's people like you who can educate us, especially about foreign meds.
Here's a link to Migraleve Duo info from Medicines.ie (meds available in Ireland):
http://www.medicines.ie/medicine/10640/SPC/Migraleve+Duo+Tablets/
Film coated Tablets (Tablets).
Migraleve Pink: Pink film-coated capsule-shaped tablets engraved 'MGE' on one face.
Migraleve Yellow: Yellow film-coated capsule-shaped tablets engraved 'MGE' on one face.
Migraleve combines two dosage forms, Migraleve Pink and Migraleve Yellow film-coated tablets.
Each Migraleve Pink film-coated tablet contains:
Paracetamol 500mg (as Paracetamol DC 96%)
Codeine Phosphate 8 mg
Buclizine Hydrochloride 6.25 mg
Each Migraleve Yellow film-coated tablet contains:
Paracetamol 500mg (as Paracetamol DC 96%)
Codeine Phosphate 8 mg
Thank you so much again!
PS. And we'll ask the admin to add the Medicines Ireland link to our Resources for Pill Identification. It will be added under "Foreign Drug Databases".

Jon, you mentioned a friend asked you to research this imprint, so you might not have all the information needed for us to make a positive pill ID.
If you get a chance, please ask your friend if anything is strange re the imprint. Like uppercase or lowercase letters, strange fonts, anything at all!
Foreign meds are very hard to ID but not impossible. We need all the pertinent info, then maybe we can find it. We are still looking for a green capsule imprinted HMR, and we've seen the image. So the capsule definitely exists, and we think we know the manufacturer. Yet we still don't know what the capsule is.
With more information regarding your friend's pill, hopefully we can steer you in the right direction and at least give you a manufacturer's name.
We'll do all we can to help. But, in this case, we need a little more information.
Thanks.
