Yellow Square Duo 861

Yellow square tablet imprinted Duo 861 might be Roximeth (dexamethasone 0.5 mg).  It's a corticosteroid, a drug that has strong anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties.

Tablet is described as a yellow square but it appears to be a diamond with duo over 861 since the imprint is upright if it's viewed as a diamond.  A score line separates the duo and 861.  Back is plain.

I don't know how to save the image from an old .pdf file but Solo5010 knows since he's done it before.

Here is an excerpt about dexamethasone from Mayo Clinic:

Quote:
Corticosteroids (cortisone-like medicines) are used to provide relief for inflamed areas of the body. They lessen swelling, redness, itching, and allergic reactions. They are often used as part of the treatment for a number of different diseases, such as severe allergies or skin problems, asthma, or arthritis. Corticosteroids may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
