Imprints of Appetite SuppressantsSubmitted by davidm on June 15, 2006 - 7:42pm.
Pharmer.org recently added several pill identification imprints for two diet drugs - phentermine (Apidex) and phendimetrazine (Bontril). Appetite suppressants are CNS stimulants that can elevate blood pressure and heart rate. Anorectic pills apparently work by "turning off" the hunger signal in the brain. These pills are used for the short-term management of obesity together with proper diet and exercise. Since appetite suppressants are chemically related to amphetamines, there is a possibility for abuse.
All imprints have been carefully compiled and checked by Pharmer.org. The list may not contain every imprint as new imprints seem to be added daily by the manufacturers. If you have any corrections or additions, please email them to info@pharmer.org.
As always, please verify all drug identifications with your doctor or pharmacy. The purchase of prescription drugs online from US or Canadian pharmacies, while legal, may not be without risk. The FDA has a consumer guide for buying prescription drugs online. Our list is for your own personal use. If you do post one or more sections of the list on a public forum or other public site, we ask that you credit Pharmer.org and include a link. To quickly search this list, please use your browser's built in search function accessed by typing Ctrl F.
