I came across a 1MG Methadone pill from a friend of mine. A pic can be found here:

From what I understand, Methadone helps people who are addicted to heroin,
which must be a great releif to heroin addicts.
My question - is there any recreational benefit to taking
this pill? I’ve never taken Methadone or Heroin before.
Would ths pill essetailly just chill me out?
How fun would it be?

as long as you're not planning on using this very often...i've used it recreationally a few times and had a blast. it's one of the more fun recreational pharms i've taken, and as a side, for me anyway, makes sex really great for some reason.
but as with anything, exercise caution. i built up a tolerance rather quickly, so just really don't keep taking it day after day for recreational purposes, could result in a very bad situation.

don,t over do it
my aunt passed away 1 week ago from a methadone overdose, she took like 7 of them , went to sleep and thats it , she never woke..I don,t think she meant to do it she thought she had a high tolerance.. my cousin is devastated,******** don,t over do it if you do take them ,,life is worth more than getting a little buzz on..

Um, I don't believe it's such a great idea....
Based on the fact that the withdrawal and addiction is as bad if not worse than that of heroin, I do not recommend pulling yourself into that downward spiral. Ofcourse there are people who can control their habits and control whether or not they develop a habit in the first place, some drugs should just be left to those who are prescribed to them and I feel this may be one of them. Someone I know joined a daily methadone clinic to ease and recover from his heroin addiction...But in order to get off of methadone, he has to go through another stage of detox [and more recovery, I imagina]...So just watch yourself.

It will get you realy high
It will get you realy high the first time. Subsequent doses will hardly
be felt as compared to the first one. They are great as a one time
thing or once a month or so. The stuff is realy addictive and it will
not get you high unless there is a significant period of time (weeks or
more) between doses.

if their is no difference between a 10mg pill of methadone and methadose how did malinkroft get a brand name on the pills. i thought the brand name was dolphine owned by Roxanne. Why are they so big compared to the pharma 10 mg methadone. i could understand they got a brand name on the liquid but how did they brand the 10mg pills. Could Pharma start calling there methadone pills. methadonet this is confusing and does not make sense can someone find the answers to this. paul Bowman |

Think it over
Everyone who starts using opiates begins using them for fun, or recreationally. No one starts out saying "???$* yeah, I'm going to be a hardcore opiate addict.!" If I were you, I wouldn't eat it. You are stepping into the lion's den and you don't even know it. Be careful, man.

Methadone is heavy stuff with a thick sugary taste.(atleast the swedish kind, duno about any other) On high dosage without being heroin addict you get both a speed and a mellow effect. Its quite long lasting and should deffinately not be taken lightly.
Last swedish report I read about it was that some doctors and researchers didnt want the addicts to quit methadone. After building tolerance they can acctualy function in society in a normal way.

who ever posted about wanting to recreationally use a prescription drug that is suppossed to be used for people trying to detox themselves from an addiction (to heroin) is asking for trouble.
i just had a friend in NC die from using methadone this past weekend (the 17th)
if you consider taking this pill for "fun".. that's just what this kid though before he ate something that would kill him a week before xmas.
might be time for you all to find something more productive to do

Pharmaceuticals
are life saving but can also be deadly as you know. Drugs need to
be treated respectfully and only used as prescribed.

The pill you have a picture of is 10 mg of methadone not 1 mg of methadone.
Methadone is a potent analgesic narcotic. It is used to treat heroin addiction because its effects as an opiate receptor agonist are much longer lasting then other opioid/morphine type of drugs. Thus, it can be administered only once day.
Tolerance and dependence on methadone may develop. The withdrawal symptoms, though they develop more slowly and are less acutely severe than those of morphine and heroin, are often more prolonged. Heroin addicts often feel that it is actually harder to quit methadone than heroin itself!
I'd find a better way to chill out.
