Not Ecstasy

I agree with solo5010 - that pill is not ecstasy.

It's a pretty pill, and the heart logo is nicely defined. The tablet looks very professional; ecstasy pills are usually round tabs that look 'homemade'.

Wish we could see the C-A imprint. 1911junkie, can you get us an image of the reverse side with the C-A markings? Thanks.

it looks like it's enteric

it looks like it's enteric coated or film coated.  virtually no clandesting tablets are coated.

Thanks

Thanks for uploading an image of the C-A side of the tablet, gbidruglord.

Since both you and 1911Junkie have this same pill, I'll bet one of you knows what it is! How about sharing?Laughing

funny about that

It's funny about that.  It's actually the same tablet.  I sent the image of the heart side to 1911junkie and they posted it here for me!  I hadn't thought of taking a picture of the other side until I saw the posts here.

Unidentified Pill

Exact same tablet, eh? So you have the tablet and want to know what it is, right?

Since there is nothing for this imprint in my references, I really think it's an OTC supplement that might be good for the heart or a female Viagra type thing, possibly made by Iovate. The company makes several pills with cool imprints. But I can't find anything that makes sense for the C-A imprint.

But while looking for this, I found another Iovate pill that might match an unidentified pill asked about months ago. So all is good.Smile

We'll continue to look for this. It's a very pretty pill and someone will recognize it eventually.

just a search lead

Just a search lead for anyone still working on this.  The heart logo and color looks very much like sanofi-aventis / bristol-meyers products Avalide and Avapro but they are more oval and have different marks.  I don't see the C-A mark on their websites but maybe I missed it.  so, perhaps this is a Mead-Johnson OTC?

ingredients

From an instrumental analysis of the tablet, major ingredients are as follows:

Stearic acid (common in pharm. prep tablets)

Palmitic acid (common in pharm. prep tablets)

Pyridoxine (Vit. B6)

Campesterol

Stigmasterol

beta-Sitosterol

The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (FDA) couldn't find it in their database so more than likely the tablet is not a US tablet.
