vicodin es
hello everybody. i am new here so if i am in the wrong section i apologize,
i have had back trouble for past 7 years (job and age related i guess. 58 yrs) i went to a pain management doc after several years of chiro. last month he gave me script for vicoden es. walgreens gave me refillable script 60 count watson 7.5/750. instructions are 1 every 6 hours as needed. they work well right now. this is first month and i have used the first 60. will i have any trouble refilling the script after 1 month? 750 acetametaphine is also a worry. is that too much? i've never been a drug user or abuser, but i need these to get the work done now. any advice is appreciated. thanks G ( categories: Chronic Pain and Pain Management )
I see no problems with
I see no problems with refills...and 1500 mg acetametaphine daily is within safe limits...it helps a lot imo.....4000mg daily is the upper limit....if you have stomach upset, maybe you can ask for less acetametaphine...but all sounds ok to me. I am not a Dr. I just play one on TV.
The way your script is
The way your script is written you are allowed 4 Tablets per day, with the total quantity being #60, you would be allowed to get the script refilled on the 15th day after it was filled. So if its been 15 or so days, you will have no problems unless your insurance has quantity limits, but then you would just pay cash. For future reference if you ever start running out early, Walgreens will almost never fill a Controlled Substance script early, Ive heard some people say not even a day early, lol stupid Gestapo Walgreens. Also, if you are paying cash they are probably the most expensive drugstore. Rite aid is the same
Rite aid is the same way....they ususally won't fill even a day early....that' why i use the university pharmacy where i receieve healthcare. But that is 75 miles away....Thhank god i just got on KADAP...now they mail my drugs to me..I've had to drive 150 miles round trip for meds before....I just put my credit card number on file and anytime i have refills due all i do is call them in and specify mail, and 2 days later, there they are, waiting in my mailbox....I love seeing that envelope in there....lol Ray Remember: Just do it..
