whats up tracy. im also a clinic patient, so i might be able to give u advice.  frist, did u already quit the clinic?  im guessing not, but u never know.  i think if you go to a dr and ask for methadone tablets for addiction treatment, i dont think u will get them.  im pretty sure drs only rx it for pain, not addicts.  the only option i can see if u are sick of going every a.m. is suboxone, and that is expensive.  how long have u been on a clinic that u are sick of it already...im hoping for an answer of a number of years. you are right it does get old going every am, but if u want to stay clean, u gutta do it.  doesnt your clinic have take homes you can apply for?  thats another option too, probably your most realisitic one. it will take time to get almost a weeks worth, but eventually u will only hafta go to the clinic  once a week.  thats if they even have take homes at all, what state are u in?  it depends on your standing at the clinic too, like if u follow all the rules, and go to the counselign and groups u are supposed to go to, coz u hafta be in real good standing with them before u can even think about take homes.  well hope this helps u. good luck.
