Purple'ish scored football shaped pill that says "Interdrugs 1.0" on it. Sorry I wasnt able to provide a better detailed photo. Any idea of the origin of this med? Obviously its foreign but it does seem to have the characteristics of being a 1mg xanax.

Interdrugs 1.0

Foreign drugs are really difficult to identify.  The pill certainly sounds as though it could be alprazolam based on color and shape, but I can't find anything with the name "Interdrugs" - which I assume is the manufacturer.

It's a big world out there, and alprazolam is made by many manufacturers, both large companies and 'no-name' tiny companies.   And there are many trade names used all over the world.  For example, here are some alprazolam trade names from Mosby's Drug Consult 2003:

Alcelam (Thailand);
Alganax (Indonesia);
Alnax (Thailand);
Alpaz (Peru);
Alplax (Argentina);
Alpralid (Israel);
Alpram (Korea);
Alpranax (Israel);
Alprax (India);
Alprocontin (India);
Alprox (Israel, Taiwan);
Altraxic (Philippines);
Alviz (Indonesia);
Alzam (South Africa);
Alzax (Korea);
Alzolam (India);
Anpress (Thailand);
Ansiopax (Chile);
Anxirid (South Africa);
Anzion (Thailand);
Apo-Alpraz (Canada, Singapore);
Azor (South Africa);
Calmlet (Indonesia);
Cassadan (Germany);
Constan (Japan);
Dixin (Colombia);
Dizolam (Singapore);
Drimpam (South Africa);
Feprax (Indonesia);
Frixitas (Indonesia);
Frontal (Brazil);
Kalma (Taiwan);
Kinax (Taiwan);
Marzolam (Thailand);
Neupax (Mexico);
Nirvan (Colombia);
Pacyl (India);
Panix (South Africa);
Pharnax (Thailand);
Prinox (Argentina);
Restyl (Israel);
Sapram (Korea);
Solanax (Japan);
Tafil (Costa Rica, Denmark, El Salvador, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela);
Tafil D (Mauritius);
Tensivan (Colombia);
Trankimazin (Spain);
Tranquinal (Ecuador, Peru);
Tricalma (Chile, Peru);
Valeans (Italy);
Xanacine (Thailand);
Xanagis (Israel);
Xanax TS (Canada);
Xanolam (South Africa);
Xanor (Austria, Finland, Norway, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden);
Zacetin (Korea);
Zanapam (Korea);
Zolam (India);
Zopax (South Africa);
Zotran (Chile);
Zypraz (Indonesia)

Even Xanax presents problems.  It's called Xanax, Tafil and Xanor in different countries, yet it's all made by Pfizer (Pharmacia) and is the original.

Sorry that we can't identify your pill.

Interdrugs Alprazolam

A recent Google search yielded an ad with image on some eBay type site for a January auction of this med. The bottle label looks quite 'homemade'.Surprised

Apparently Interdrugs is located in Thailand, and the trade name of its alprazolam is Inzolam.

Search for interdrugs alprazolam, and the expired auction should be the second search result. Click on 'cache' to see the info since it's no longer active on the main entry.

This particular forum thread here on Pharmer.org is the first search result in Google.Laughing

[edited to add image since it's such a unique label]

Wow, I think that 'stickman' symbol matches the logo on an unidentified pill here on Pharmer. I'll try to find the image.
