Weight Loss Drug Injection

This is my opinion only - and I know nothing about weight loss drugs.

Possibly we need to take datchick's question very seriously and try to help instead of relying on Google? Google is great - top notch as far as I'm concerned. But, for something foreign, the miracle drug could be buried on page 205 or whatever.

There obviously is a very good weight loss drug made in Mexico since we have so many posts raving about the Medix (?) capsule that is usually combined with homeopathic drops.

And there is Acomplia (rimonabant), a very successful weight loss drug approved in Europe and maybe other areas of the world. Acomplia sounds like an excellent solution to a few problems. Apparently the drug helps people lose weight and stop smoking. But our FDA did not approve the drug because it might cause depression.

What else is new? In the last year or so the FDA has cautioned that many drugs might cause depression:

Antidepressants, anticonvulsants and antismoking pills are mentioned as causing depression per the FDA. And those are only the drug categories that start with "A".Surprised

We have 25 more letters to go.

How many categories can you name?
