Does anyone know what other medicine would be the closest to taking adderall?

Dexedrine, if you want to
Dexedrine, if you want to stay with amphetamine. It is by far the closest, since Adderall is dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine. Dexedrine is essentially Adderall without the levo isomer added, and minus the saccharate salt.
Vyvanse(lisdexamphetamine), which is a prodrug for dextroamphetamine. It is purported to have a lower abuse potential, since the lisdexamphetamine has to be metabolized before having the amphetamine properties.
Ritalin/Concerta if you would rather have a methylphenidate product. It is still a phenethylamine (like amphetamine) but it has a shorter half-life, and is said to have fewer side-effects.
Or the Daytrana (methylphenidate) patch.

Wasn't ritalin the most prescribed or well know drud for ADD or ADHD patients before aderall?
