Hi folks.

Maybe someone might be able to tell me how long sudafed stays in your body.  I took it for allergies and I have to do a U/A.  I know there is a chance it will come up as a false positive for methamphetamine or speed - which I do NOT do.  However, I am not even supposed to take the sudafed due to the fact of the chance of false positive on the test.  So, any info will be greatly appreciated.

i have no idea how long it stays in u.  im guessing the same as other pills like a couple to three days?   when is your ua?  I would drink a ton of water if you have a day before the test, and in between the h2o, drink cranberry juice strait up 100% cranberry juice, not the cocktail, not mixed with any other juice, 100% CRAN BERRY JUICE!  do that the whole day b4 the test, just one of the big bottles of the juice, and keep going on the water until a little b4 bed.  then the next morning of the test, just drink what u normally drink, im guessing coffee, and maybe a LITTLE BIT OF WATER, u dont want your sample to come out diluted.  This is merely advice, and what I do.  Im not TELLING u to do it but its a suggestion.

Thanks Mdonia for the reply.  I thought my test might be today but it isn't.  I have to do randoms when ever they call my color.  It will probably be called tomorrow then.  I drink tons of fluid every day.  I take a diuretic 3 x a day.  Now that is a problem too.  I have come up dilute more then enough times and I get punished for it.  I tell them that my last dose is at 11 pm so I tend to piddle every hour to hour and a half so there really isn't a "best" time for me to go to the lab.  Well, I hope that by tomorrow the sudafed will be out of my system.  Thank you again for the info.  I will go get the cranberry juice right now!  I think I am getting a UTI anyway, so that will help!!  Hey, can it be cran raspberry juice?  I love that!!!

Anyone else out there that might be able to give me some mord info, I would appreciate it.

hey pam..it can be cran rasp, as long as its 100% juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look at the ingredients, if itsays hi fructose corn syrup and a;ll these other thing u never heard of, then junk it. it has to say cranberrry jc and rasp jc and thats pretty much it. on the front it should say 100% juice, like the cran jc cocktails are all sugar and like 10 % jc. u want 100% i cant stress it enough. i learnt the hard way. coz if its all sugar its just gonna dehydrate u more. good luck, and btw this method has NEVER failed me, but i knew a day in advance, at my methadone clinic i woudl know when i was gonna have a urine the next day so it was kinda easy. my new clinic, they dont do that. its the same clinic, just a different branch that i transferred to closer to home, but its run a little different. so good luck 2 u!

cranberry juice method

 Does this method work with all drugs, or just amphetamines? curious as i have never heard of this being done before. What is in the juice that helps ? just curious, thanks

ive only used it for mostly benzos and opiates.  ive never used it for amphetamines, which is what LUV, the orig poster was worried about from sudafed.  SO theres no guarantee it WILL work, but it HAS worked for ME.  i dont know about any other drugs.  I was just told to try it, and it worked EVERY TIME. So it was just a suggestion, with good results for me anyways. 

As for why the cranberry juice specifically works, i have not looked it up, but i was told it has a natural detoxification  ingredient in it.  i should prob. look into it huh?  all i know is every time i have used it with water, ive passed all my u/a's.  so i would think it would work on any type of toxin in the body.  it could all be a myth, and just the fact of drinking so much liquid is the real answer...who knows....maybe DR LOIS??  OR XTRASYSTOLE?   u guys have any input?
