question about vicodin

Hi ya'll!

I was just wondering (my doc doesnt really know) if anyone knows why this is.  The vicodin Es ive taken for chronic back pain gives me a terrible stomach ache, but if I take 1.5 5/500's it doesnt hurt even though its the exact same amount of hydro and apap.  my Doc had no idea why this is, so i was wondering if anyone had similar experience.

It could possibly be a

It could possibly be a reaction to an inactive ingredient in the vicodin ES, such as a filler or coloring.

Check with a licensed MD before you take any suggestions!
