Hey Everyone,

I have a faily bad snowmobiling wreck about a year and a half ago and the they put me on oxycodone 5mg. At the time I have insurance and the company I was working for when under. So I was getting the drug off the street. I've have enough of the constant search and I've got a 1 !/2 son and a 2 1/2 year old girl and don't need this in my life. I'm working on my 3rd day and hoping the worse is over. Can anyone tell me how long the withdrawl last. Last night was the first time I'd been able to keep anything down. I hadn't slept but may be 3-4 hour in 3 day. A friend gave me some zanax which helped me sleep. Is this bad? I never though I would be writing in this forum. I used this site to see what pills I was getting were good. Before tuesday I was using about 120-180mg morphs a day along with tabs. Any help would be great. My girlfriend thinks I should go to a doctor but I want to see if I'm strong enough to do it myself. Any suggestions would be great. James

Hi I'm Daniel. I know what

Hi I'm Daniel. I know what you are going through, TRUST ME. Basically you want to know how long your withdrawals will last? If I understand correctly, then you were using mophine tablets and hydrocodone/lortabs tablets. If you were doing 120-180mgs of morphine a day plus hydros or oxycodone for a year and a 1/2 and you are going cold turkey for the first time then I would say if you are on day three then the worse should be starting to subside. and once its been around 7-9 days the withdrawals should be completely done. I have went through withdrawl from opiates and opioids so many times so I know what you are going through. but anyways like I said you should be good in about 3 or 4 more days. There is a medication called clonidine that I would recommend if it gets to be too much to bear. clonidine was originally developed for hypertension but it was later found to be quite effective at helping with opiate withdrawal, I was prescribed it about a year ago when I had to come off of oxycontin cold turkey. it mostly helps the hot/cold flashes, restlessness, and sweating. it also helps the insomnia because it has a slight sedating effect. anyways I hope this was helpful if you have anymore questions just post them on here and I would be glad to answer them.

Thanks

Hey Daniel,

I think I'm going to make it. I took everything I have not to make some phone calls and get something toget rid of how I was feeling but grad I didn't. Although the zanex helped with the restlessness and make it so I could atleast get some sleep. It's great I could eat something without want to throw up from both ends. I think I'm over the worse of it. Thanks for you help and I'll let you know how it goes.  James

Street Prices???

No offense to the original poster but if you are paying street prices for these drugs you can most certainly afford the pharmacy prices..they are probably half or less than you are paying...so id suggest just going to a doc without ins. and filling your script..and paying cash
