Round White with blue specks help identify plzI need to know if this is the correct medication - it is supposed to be phentermine but it isn't oval - it is round, ( like asprin ) with blue specks and the only mark on it is that it's scored on one side. ( categories: Pill Identification )
Sorry
Lisa123, It's not possible to accurately identify a pill without an imprint. Could be anything. In the US all prescription, over the counter and homeopathic meds have to have an identifier. So your pill could be a vitamin, supplement or foreign med. Many foreign medications don't have markings. I'm not a pharmacist or a medical doctor. We can ID several based on markings, but if the drug has no markings, it's not possible to determine what the med is without expensive lab testing. If the med came in a blister pack that is intact, there should be the manufacturer's name, drug name, dosage, country of origin, lot code and expiration date on the blister foil. I would assume the drug is what it's purported to be if the blister pack is intact. If the pills came loose in a baggie, I'd toss them real fast! I'm not a pharmacist or a medical doctor. The pills could be legit, but I wouldn't chance taking anything that I wasn't positive about. It's too risky. I'm not a pharmacist or a medical doctor.
