VS Pill - XTC or RX or What??

Found these pills in a plastic bag.  The bag was under the stairwell to my apartment and in plain sight.  The pills measure about 8 mm in diameter and 4 mm thick.

Anyone have a clue?  Thank you in advance.

No Discernible Odor

The pills have no scent that I can smell - and certainly no licorice smell.

No ideas yet?

More info for VS pills

This is a crazy one.  No one has any ideas?  Any guesses will be great. I've tried every place I can think of - all the pill ID places you recommend, two pharmacys, and my internist's nurse.  If you don't know what the pill is, do you have any more sources that I can try?  No big deal and I am not about to take these pills but I am curious.

If you need it, here is more information.  The pills were in a plastic bag  They were not hidden.  The pills are white, round and marked VS on both sides.  The pills look professional - well pressed, even in size and markings, not homemade looking at all.  Now I'm sure it must be a perscription medicine instead of XTC because the pills are so uniform.

I took the bag to work and measured the pills with a caliper.  They are 8.5 mm in diameter and 5.5 mm thick, so the pills are larger then I first guessed.  No one at work could smell anything but one person.  He said the pills might smell a little bittersweet.

Thanks in advance..............

VS Pill

Hi wildone,

Sorry for ignoring your post, but I hesitate to reply.  I know you want any ideas you can get.  But with the additional information you listed -  especially lack of smell - I'm very doubtful.

This imprint has come up several times on a couple of forums.  It's been identified by at least one person as a mint.  Made sense to me.  Many months ago someone asked the question, and a parent said something like "It's Victoria Secret's mints.  My kid got a tin in his Christmas stocking."  Cool.  I believed it, so everytime the question popped up, I linked to the original post.  But others denied it.  And recently someone posted they asked Victoria Secret about mints and VS said we don't sell them.   End of questions!  Haven't seen a post since yours.

I am very curious and would like to know what your pill is. The imprint is not in any of the pill ID databases, so I don't think it's a prescription med.   Or OTC.  And it's not on the ecstacy test sites.  So it's possible the last posters are wrong and VS does sell mints.

It's driving me crazy, so this weekend I'll visit the nearest VS store and see what merchandise (other than lingerie!) is sold.

Thanks

Thanks for your input, kirby.

Really don't think it's a mint but who knows...........

Guess I could eat one but I'm the wildone - not the stupidone.

Looking forward to any more info you might have.

Well, well - now we know

Round white tablet imprinted VS is not ecstasy - and it's not an RX or OTC medication!

The "pills" are Victoria's Secret mints called "For Him".  The VS store near me had two kinds of mints - Vicki Mints and For Him, so I bought a package of each.  In case anyone is interested, the Vicki Mints are cinnamon flavored, pink and shaped like lips.  I would have taken a picture except my batteries ran out while photographing the "For Him" mints.

Wildone, the mints do smell "minty" in the tin.  But I took about half the package and set them aside in a baggie.  We ate a few (very nice) and waited.  After about four hours we couldn't pick up any scent for the ones in the baggy!

So I think the "pills" are safe to take if you need an instant breath freshener.

Thank you.

Thank you very much.  I'm glad to know what the pills are, but now I feel sort of stupid even asking about these.  But  I guess I'm not the only person who thought they were drugs.

Stupid Questions

There is only one stupid question, the one that never gets asked.
