White, round, scored; nested squares imprint, from Philippines"From the Philippines, it's just Soma (carisoprodol)." This is what my 17-yr old daughter tells me. I took them away (obviously) and tried to find a matching image here and on the internet, but with no luck.
They were in a plastic baggie, no blisterpak or other information available. :( White, round, scored, with a nested squares imprint. They're just under a half inch wide. Has anyone seen these pills before? Thank you so much, ( categories: Pill Identification )
foriegn meds are very hard
foriegn meds are very hard to identify due to the lack of standards and regulations that many countires have. that imprint does look very familiar and i believe i have seen it on this board before identified as being soma. unfortunately there is no way to tell for sure w/out exspensive testing. sorry phisher Carisoprodol Maybe?
Phisher is correct - foreign meds are very hard to identify. Often a foreign company will imprint every pill it makes with the company logo and nothing else. So even if you recognize the logo, it's still pretty hard to positively ID a particular pill. Your image is very nice and clear. Unfortunately though I don't recognize the logo. Phisher mentioned that he thinks he's seen this logo on our board, but he may be thinking about the logo on this pill:
We are still looking for the pink one and will certainly look for your pill too. The size of the pill (a little under 1/2" in diameter) sounds correct for carisoprodol, and at least one foreign Soma that I know about is scored although US generics aren't scored. Sorry that we can't identify your pill right now. I'm

Which pill are you referring to? The white one or the pink one? We have not identified either one so far. But please tell us which one and all you know about it. And we'll certainly try to find it. Thanks. I'm not a pharmacist or a medical
