two toned brown capsule

need to try and identify a little two toned brown capsule one side it has 0554 and on the other side it has a boxed M with 5mg under it. thanks in advance for any help with this.

thanks for the quick response, could you tell me if there is any other ingredients in this pill, i know this is a dumb question but is the instant release different from the tablet form of oxycodone?

Instant release oxycodone is

Instant release oxycodone is regular release - same as roxycet.  It's different from oxycontin because that's sustained release and lasts 12 hours.  Your capsul is just like that tablet you asked about.  It doesn't have APAP or any other actives in it.  Hope this helps.

as far as the release goes there is only two forms; instant/immediate release and sustained/continous release.

I was just wanting to know approx. how much oxycodone is released from an oxycontin each hour?

Depends...

THat depends on the dosage and hhow often you take it.... So, the formula is: Dosage divided by time equals amount per hour. For example, If you take an 8 mg tablet once every 12 hours, then 8 divided by 12 equals .666 mg per hour.
