Small comment, and I hope this is acceptable. 54 403 isn't Palladone like the text reads. It is generic Dilaudid and this pill 54 403 is currently marketed. Palladone comes in capsules and was discontinued July 2005. Here's what Palladone looks like:
54 403 = generic Dilaudid
Hi all, I'm very glad I found this site. It was returned in response to my Google search using only "54-403" in my effort to learn more about Dilaudid. Prior to the search all I really knew was that I had 8mg generic Dilaudid. Still don't know much more but at least I've found a forum to discuss it. Being a generic pill, I don't know if the shape, color or numbers change with the milligram dose and manufacturer, but I do know that 8mg is the highest available if you're not a hospital inpatient. In the hospital I was given Dilaudid via IV push every 4 hours but have no idea of the dose and don't care! Talk about pain relief! I just got the prescription filled yesterday for breakthrough pain that isn't controlled by taking 3 - 80mg Oxycontins per day, which I take in an attempt to control the level 9 pain I'm in from multiple failed surgeries in 2000 to repair 1 anal fistula. In July, 2000 when I had the 4th and final surgery, the Colon Rectal Surgeon who performed the surgery told me that my 1 initial fistula had turned into 3 due to the previous failed attempts. (I'm going to post that story separately in the hope that somebody will come up with a procedure or medication that hasn't been tried.) By the way, I did read the FAQ's about posting in the forums but don't know if we can say the name of any specific business like a pharmacy, pharmacy inside a grocery store or an independent pharmacy. Also, I hope I didn't break a rule just now by telling that I live in Columbus, Ohio. If I did I apologize to the site owners, please don't kick me off! Sorry to be so long winded, Mike Hi ohioguy 06

We refer to Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Wal*Mart, Costco, Target, Sam's Club, Wall's Health & Medicine Center etc. all the time. And of course the grocery store pharmacies like HEB, Kroger, Safeway etc. We use those pharmacies for a lot of our information like images, monographs etc. They provide wonderful tools for consumers and are to be commended. It's the obscure online pharmacies (those that sell prescription medicines without a prescription) that are not welcomed here. And your location is no problem either. But we do prefer that you not publish your email address or any personal identifiable information for your own protection against malicious spam. If you do publish an email address, the admin will delete it. The rules are few. Just a little common sense as I'm sure you figured out since you read the three rules! I'm not a pharmacist or a medical doctor. This message is not medical advice nor is it an offer to provide medical advice. All drug identifications should be validated by a licensed MD or pharmacist. |
