I found a broken pill stuck in the couch at an apartment where I wouldn't be surprised to find most anything. It is oblong, white, and has a break in what would be the middle. On the side where I can't see the break-line, there is a partial imprint of 44 - 3. Since it is little over half a pill, there could be several more numbers or letters. The side that has a breaking-line is blank and the oblong pill seems to have a sort of flat ridge around it. From what I've seen here about Lomaperdine(?)(the anti-diarrheal), I think it could be related or just an unusual generic, mainly because the others seem to all be blue and look more rounded/less oblong. Some of the people who use that couch may use opiates such as hydro/oxycodone & methadone, so my first thought was that it was probably an opiate painkiller but I haven't seen any like it. If anyone knows what it is, has access to a list of imprints starting w/ 44 - 3, has seen that anti-diarrheal in white and more oblong than the blue ones w/ the same numbers(remember the other side is probably completely blank except for a breaking line), or if anyone just has a vague idea of what it is or could be, please share. It's very important that I figure this out. If it is that other pill, the one that people say helps against opiate withdrawals, that could be good news. It could mean that my friend, the guy who got addicted to methadone for trying to quit lortab & percocet, is finally just biting the bullet to get clean. ....Any tips, leads, or educated guesses would be appreciated!

Your pill is an over the counter generic med, mfg by LNK international. .
There are a couple of possibilities, none of which I could find to be Loperamide (Imodium).
44-353: Ibuprofen 200mg (white oblong)
Without knowing the other two numbers (44 3XX), it will be impossible to know for sure. Most of the 3XX series are different colors and shapes, the one above is the only one I found that matched the description.
