hey there i cant get into my doctor today and i have endemetriosis really bad and i usually take percocet, my girlfriend brought me these pills cause im in alot of pain she said that theyre oxycontin i just want to make sure they are or if theyre not what they are if anyone can help me please..
theyre like a light orange or peach with a symbol that looks like a e on one side and a 2 on the other theyre round.
how do they compare to percocet now im scared to take 1
If you are on percocet i'm guessing you take the 10/325mg tab if so the 2mg Dilaudid (hydromorphone) tablet compares quite equally and you should have nothing to worry about, except maybe a little more nausea and least that's what Dilaudid does to me but if you are pretty well adjusted to pain killers you will be perfectly fine. Remember Dilaudid also some in 4mg, 8mg immediate release tabs here in the U.S. and also 16mg, 24mg & 32mg extended release formulations but only in Canada so this drug comes in stronger forms than the 2mg tab you have.
If any more info is needed check out www.erowid.organd read the (hydromorphone) experiences to get an idea of what magic these tabs have! Be careful and pain free!

There are several Oxycontin generics on the market now. I have personally seen a few the round shape and color description you give suggest it is a 80mg Oxycontin tablet IF it is Oxycontin. Try to ask your friend to see the bottle that contains this medication. If it is Oxycontin DO NOT CRUSH OR BREAK THE TABLET!!!! Brand name Oxycontin orange tablets are 40mg and are labeled (40 side 1 and OC on side 2) Generics i have noticed that are orange are usually 80mg please keep in mind that if you usually take Percocet 10/??? that an 80 mg O.C. is equal to 8 of those tablets you usually take and if chewed will release all 80mg of oxycodone at once instead of over a period of 12 hours as they are designed to do i mentioned earlier i do not know if you have Oxycontin or not if you do it is a generic. your best bet is to personally look at the botle they are in. I would take nothing i am not 100% sure of and i am not a medical professional and i am giving you no advice to take the unidentified pill. Thank you, I do agree with the previous comments you could very well and most likely have a 2mg dilaudid.

Please be very careful.
Round orange tablet imprinted A2 (lowercase A on one side and 2 on the other side) is 2 mg Dilaudid (hydromorphone), a very potent narcotic analgesic. I think it's about the strongest pain pill in tablet form (immediate release) available in the US.

Please read about Dilaudid at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA. BCBS also has an image of the pill.
