Help me identify this pill with AN 513 on it

I found 4 yellow oblong pills in my sons room. Nothing on one side and on the other is AN 513 w/a straight line between the two. Please help!!!!!!

could you please double check that imprint?

i have checked three databases and cannot find that. i did find one similiar but still quite different.

perhaps it is new, or maybe foreign.

could you get us a pic?

I don't know if it is the same poster, but seems to be the same pill, and the same reply by Phisher. It hasn't been IDed there either.

I can't confirm this info, but I think oblong yellow tablet imprinted AN 513 is 750 mg salsalate, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug made by Amneal Pharmaceutical.

I'm basing this guess on the fact that AN 512 blue tablet is 500 mg salsalate that was issued through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). And 750 mg salsalate is commonly yellow, oblong and scored.

Amneal is a very small manufacturer who makes a few OTC items and salsalate, and the company has recently received FDA approval to market metformin, a drug that treats type 2 diabetes.
