Since I spend most of the winter sick, I seem to constantly be popping antibiotics. Already this year I have had Ceftin prescribed twice and Zithromax once. They aren't working, I've argued with my doctor but he doesn't listen to me. I've heard Omnicef (I don't know if that is the name of the drug or the manufacturer) is excellent. Does anyone have any suggestions for a stronger antibiotic that I could poosibly try and ask my doctor. I am tired of being sick. Thanks for any help!

Not sure we can answer this question, but I have a question.  What did you ever find out about the SP03 tablet?  

If we can answer this, I have been prescribed Omnicef and it worked very well.  I have also had Factive, and it knocked out an Upper resp infection in about 3 days, but I probably would have been better by then anyhow.

I'm no DR. but I would recommend a flu shot.  Every fall, they are offered in so many places.  Thats what i would do.  Have your body get a small taste of this years common flu, fight it off and build a nice strong immunity and defense.  People swear by it.  Chec with your doc, its worth a shot, no pun intended, tee hee.

I've had the flu shot

I actually got the flu shot this year and I wish I hadn't.  I know everyone says you cannot get sick from it, but I really feel I did.  I got the shot in the middle of October and have been miserable since then.  In previous years I haven't had it because I was pregnant or sick from my many other illnesses.  I had believed if I got that stupid shot I would have had a better winter.

 

The only thing I know about the SP 03 pill is it is an antipsychotic.  I haven't gotten the name of it yet because I haven't been back to work yet.  As soon as I go back I will ask my D.O.N.  It is still driving me crazy.  Thanks everyone

 I agree with gtrplayer

 I agree with gtrplayer Omnicef is a very quick and excellent product! My daughter was just taking it for flu like symptoms and allergies and everything else you can think of. In three days she was back to her crazy-self!!! Just like her mother!!!LOL
