heres a question to settle an argument with some of my friends. ok,, the 2 mg xanaxs, rectangular- where i come from people call them bar xanaxs or they say double bar. the argument is,,,,,, some say that there is a difference between a bar xanax and a double bar. i say that they are the same. could someone please tell me if there is a difference? i think im right, but not positive. i would appreciate any input........ thanx
If they are both 2mg 'bars', the rectangular shaped pills, then the only difference is the mfg.
Give us the imprint/markings of the pills in question and we can further answer your question with more detail.
thanx for the input people. i new i was right, but you know how it is, you just cant tell some people anything. a 2mg xanax is just that,, 2 mg. i think where my friends was going wrong is that some of the 2mg ones is yellow and some are white. but anyway, thanx again.

All xanax's are the same, or they all contain the same active ingredient, which is alprazolam. The only comparable differences that two xanax would have are that one would be extended release meaning that it would only be taken once or twice daily because it is specially designed to dissolve and effect slowly, and a immediate release xanax, which of course would effect you probably more strongly quicker. The extended release xanax are from .5mg - 3mg and the immediate release xanax go from .25mg - 2mg.
