Adderall-Differences in Generics?Hey whats up my fellow pharmers! I was wondering if anyone knew of a difference in ingredients in 2 generic versions of Adderall? I have a script for it, and usually get the generic version marketed by "BARR", it's a flat, orange, immediate release tablet, scored, with a lowercase "b" over the numbers 973 on one side, and "20" (for 20 mg) on the otherside. The other version tastes different and seems to be considerably less effective...marketed by "EON"? I'm not sure if this is an abbreviation or not. Anyway its a more circular, orange tablet, double-scored, with the letters capital "E" over 401 on one side, blank on the other side. I will try to submit the images as well. Ok the first image is of the BARR Adderall; the second is of the "EON".If anyone knows of a difference in ingredients in these 2 brands of generic Adderall, please help! Thank you so much, peace!BARR Adderall: 20 mg generic Adderall, BARR ( categories: Discussion of Prescription and OTC Meds )
there is no difference to
there is no difference to speak of in the active ingredients, however, the inactive ingredients do tend to vary a small bit. bottom line is that oftentimes people find that one generic or brand works better for them then the others. basically your only real options would be that you could ask your pharmacy prior to filling them what generic/brand they offer and if it isnt the one that you desire then you could either ask if that particular pharmacy can order the one you want or try another pharmacy. all thoughts and opinions expressed are those of my own and should not be mistaken for medical advice. i am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. all medical questions should be answered by a licensed pharmacist, doctor, or primary care manager. |
