That's good advice, however; ibuprofen does come in 800mg tablets. Ibuprofen can be taken up to 2400mg per 24 hour period. I know that the Combunox literature says that it is not meant to be taken for over 10 days, but look how many of us are treated with Norco, Lortab, or Percocet for Chronic Pain. I'm not saying that Combunox is necessarily a good medicine for chronic pain, but I have known people that take 2400mg of Ibuprofen everyday.

combunox is oxycodone hcl and ibuprofen. As is imprinted on the tablet. There is 5mg oxycodone and 400mg ibuprofen in each tablet. I would take no more than 2 tabs at a time or you risk serious ovedodse of ibuprofen or at minimum a bad stomach ache. This medicine is meant to releive moderate to severe pain with inflamation for a period of 10 days or less. It is not meant to treat chronic conditions such as arthritis or chronic pain.
