What Shape are the pills in and they are both the same exact pill besides the difference in color? and are the pills scored and when are the, for instance does the pill say 44 then it is scored or has a break or line down the middle and and says 470?
Good Job Phisher and sorry my post made no sence my eyes arent even open.
The white pill in the picture is correct.
The blue one looks the same as the white one- but contains "Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg" , which the white one does not have? Hope that will help.

They are Wal Mart "Equate" brand cold pills. The white 44-470s are the "daytime" formula and the blue 44-473s are the "nighttime" formula.
Package recommends 2 pills every four hours max 12 in 24hrs.
I am wondering why my son is coming home with these pills, is this a new thing for teens to do is to take cold medicines???
Does he have allergies and need them? These are for allergies as well as colds.
But, Some youngsters abuse dextromethorphan by taking large doses. In a product like this they run a serious risk of liver damage from the acetaminophen. Also, there have been many lethal dextromethorphan overdoses in the last few years. Chlorpheniramine can be very sedating, more so than diphenhydramine (Benedryl).
