I know Tramadol is not a controlled substance and i know a few people that order it on line with out a script is this legal. also it is a synthetic opiate so would it show up on a UA. So anyone with confident knowledge on this subject could, would let me know i would greatly appreciate any response

Again, this all depends on the type of test given.
I know that tramadol can be detected, if it is specifically tested for.
As far as a normal NIDA5 test, I'm not 100% sure.
The Manufacturers list tramadol as an opioid medication, with an unknown mechanism of action. So, it would make sense that tramadol would show up as an opiate on a drug test.
Just a side note: Many/Most synthetic opiates show up as "opiates" on a drug test. Through further testing, the test can determine which opiate was taken, be it hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, methadone, etc.
