small round blue pill with TP imprint on one side, 10 on the other

Help!

I have googled this pill description as well as searched Yahoo answers. I found 1 other Yahoo user whom posted the same description yet no one was able to identify the pill/medicine?

So, what I have (i believe) was purchased in Mexico. They are a small blue round pill, approx 10mm size. The pill has NO score marks on it. The identifying marks are a capital TP within a oval shaped imprint and an imprint of 10 on the other side.

Possibly this is a discontinued medicine? I would appreciate any input on this topic.

Please feel free to contact me personally. I have 5 of these pills and was told maybe Ecstasy? maybe Hydrocodone?

Thanks in advance! Rozy

Sounds like it could be [and

Sounds like it could be [and 99% most likely is] Valium (Diazepam) 10mg.

Someone will come along and either confirm or correct me.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Mike.

TP 10 Imprint

Hi Rozy,

Something like this is pretty hard to identify. There are a lot of small generic Mexican manufacturers, and most companies put the same logo on all their pills. At least your pill also has the '10', so it's probably 10 milligrams of something.

It doesn't sound like ecstasy - the imprint definitely sounds like a pharmaceutical.

And I doubt if it's hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is not a common drug outside of the US.

Diazepam sounds more reasonable, especially with the '10' marking and blue color, but 10 mm in diameter is little bigger than US diazepam tabs. And generally diazepam is scored, although I have seen pictures of foreign diazepam that's not scored.

Is there anything different about the TP? Are the letters just plain uppercase, or do the letters form a logo? Any more information you can give us will certainly help. And an image would be great!Smile

Thanks.
