What is the difference between the hydrocodone used for cough and hydro used for chronic pain?

Nothing.Sometimes the salt

Nothing.

Sometimes the salt might be different, but other than that, it's pretty much the same thing.  Cough preparations are usually liquid, and chronic pain is usually treated with tablets.
