Need help with 4 pillsHi - new member here for about 2 weeks. Need to know what 4 pills are. I tried to find out myself with the tools at http://www.mit.edu/~davidm/ but cannot find the pills. I wanted to try the 2 forums but 1 is not working right now. Maybe someone here can help me. I think I know what 2 pills are but do not know the other 2.
I think #3 is xanax but how strong is this pill? #4 is supposed to be percoset but I am not sure. Maybe someone can help me please. Thank you for your time. terry ( categories: Pill Identification )
Four Pills
Hi Terry and welcome to Pharmer.org. We will do all we can to help, but I think three of these pills are not US meds. This makes identification a little more difficult. So please bear with us while we try to ID them. Oval white tablet imprinted C N (score line between the C and N) is 20 mg Celexa (citalopram), an SSRI antidepressant. This is a Canadian imprint, not US. It's possible the same imprint is used in some countries, but I think the imprint differs around the world, so it's really hard to be sure. So far I can't find Nylan A1. Could the imprint possibly read Mylan A1? If so, it's 1 mg alprazolam, generic Xanax. Here is an image of Mylan A1:
from the Mylan website at http://www.mylanpharms.com Oval lavender tablet imprinted Upjohn 90 is 1 mg Xanax (alprazolam). Pharmer.org has a picture of this pill in the Foreign Drug Image Gallery. Your last pill imprinted 0636 has come up on another board several times. A couple of posters said it is Percocet. I can't confirm this information. If I remember correctly, all the posters were from Canada. I'll keep looking and will let you know if I find anything. Take care and I hope we helped. I'll revert if I find anything definite about the round white tablet imprinted 0636. I'm not a pharmacist or a medical doctor. Okay, Terry, we finally found out that the white tablet imprinted 0636 is Endocet (generic Percocet). Note the second paragraph from Ratiopharm, Canada: Quote: Each white tablet, scored on one side, with the Endo logo on the other, contains 5 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen. Nonmedicinal ingredients: include cornstarch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch, silicone dioxide, and stearic acid. This medication does not contain lactose, sodium, or tartrazine.
