Generic Zoloft (Sertraline)

Have been taking sertraline 100 mg for the past year. The pill that I have

been taking is peach/beige; oval/rectangle; with G 4910 imprinted on it. Upon

getting a refill last week I noticed that the pill is now white; oval/rectangle; with RX166

imprinted on it. I called my pharmacist and they tell me that the manufacturer has changed

the design but I can't find any information about it on the web. Also, I haven't felt the

same since I started taking the new pill. Can anyone tell me if this is sertraline 100 mg ?

I would prob trust the pharmacist, when new pills come out they are often hard to find until websites have been updated.

Same Here

I have been taking zoloft for 7 years.  Many times when I get a generic refill the color and shape changes.  HOWEVER, this time, I got the same one as you described: RX166, and have been taking it for two months.  I didn't realize it at first, but I was becoming more and more irritable and, to be honest, quite mean.  Finally, I realized that that is exactly how I acted before I started taking the zoloft in the first place!  I called the people who fill the perscription (Tel-drug) and had them fill the next order with the brand name.  I have a feeling I will be back to normal as soon as they arrive.  In the mean time, I have been taking three instead of one (the past two days).  I feel a little better.  The weird thing is that I know it must have at least some of the "work stuff," as I am not feeling any withdrawl symptoms, which I always get when I don't take them for a day or two.  If anyone else has had this same problem, please let us know about it.  This is not a healthy thing, especially for people like me. Sincerely,

Zoloft Taker

noticable difference

I just found this site when looking up this rx166 to make sure it is really zoloft. I agree with the statement someone said about it having some "active ingredient" because I have not crashed. I can say that for me it is no where near the same as the oval fat generic one I was taking. The dizzy "Oops I forgot to take my pill" uneasy feeling starts about 5 hours after I take it in the morning. I am not going to wait until this script runs out to replace this white generic rx166 thing. After taking Zoloft for 5 years at 150mg I think know that this new one aint for me at least.
