Tiny foreign mail order S pill
-Mail order from Cambodia -Sold as 5mg Hydrocodone pure -Definitly not 5mg Hydrocodone -Very small, thick, one side blank, one side has an "S" larger picture is at http://www.pharmer.org/node/8273 any ideas? ( categories: Pill Identification )

Send it to lab, pay a hefty fee, and get it tested. Round, Thick, S pill is not going to be of much help unless we know the manufacturer as well. We know it was mail order from Cambodia now, but we still do not know what the pill could be. Out of curiosity, is the site that you ordered from still in existence? If so, I would contact them and tell them that you ordered something from them, but can't remember what it was. Must be a easy site to get to. It appears the pills are sold as 5mg hydrocodone by looking thru the other threads but no one can identify it. Just consensus that it came from cambodia and is small with an S. Sorry but this is gonna be a pharmer mystery and should teach a good lesson about ordering meds online from foreign countries. the pharmacy says the pills are made by a company called Phsar Thmey Pharmaceuticals. The pills work OK for pain, the thing is they seem much different then U.S. hydrocodone and not nearly as effective. Also they take twice as long to start working. The seller claims that the pills do not have a brand name because they are made specifically for the seller as generic 5mg hydrocodone with no other drugs added.  Thanks
Thanks for letting us know the contents of the pill (per the vendor). I really have difficulty believing it's hydrocodone, but I guess anything is possible. It's just so rare for hydrocodone to be sold outside of the US. Even Canada does not market hydrocodone in tablet form - only in syrup form. Apparently sometimes tabs are used in Europe for coughs but certainly not for pain control. If it's not effective, try combining it with an acetaminophen or ibuprofen tablet. Some people think acetaminophen is added to US products to cut down abuse but that's not true. It's well known that acetaminophen (or ibuprofen or aspirin) helps most narcotics work better. I'm not adding anything important except to comment on the size (4 to 5 mm in diameter). That is a very small tablet. It's smaller than Claritin and generics.
