I just picked up a partial prescription of Methimazole for my cat (this is a human med also). The pills are different than the ones I had before, even though it is the same medication. My vets office is closed and I'm out of his old pills. I'm a bit worried that they gave me the wrong pills since it is a partial prescription. Any help would be much appreciated. Otherwise he'll have to wait until tomorrow evening for his meds. Thanks

The tablet is methimazole 5 mg made by United Research Laboratories.

Description from the package insert:

Thanks!

Thank you kirby, I really appreciate it. I couldn't find methizamole from anyone but PAR....or Tapazole from anyone but King Pharma.

This really helps, as my vet is closed on Wednesdays!
