Hello Send4jimmy, when I first started to take suboxone for the first week I was getting severe headaches that lasted days and my dr thought it was the naloxone but he WOULDNT under any circumstances change me to subtex, the head aches wend away for me, my brother still gets headaches from suboxone and he has been on it for 4 years now, he was one of the first patients, his dr is one of the drs that invented the program he is in the office seeing patients 2 days a week and in the lab, doing research 3 days a week, i have heard but dont know how credable the info is that they are coming out with a suboxone implant that releases buprenorphine for 2 months at a time then it has to be changed, sounds interesting to me. I was on siboxone for 2 months and my dr had me taper off because he doent do long term, if i wanted long term he would have sent me to a different doctor. I was off it for a few weeks and decided to go back on it. I am at 8mg once a day in the morning. I have tried 4mg in the am and 4mg in the pm. it just doesnt work for me. I actually prefer 4mg in the am, but my dr wants me to settle on 8mg for a few weeks then go to 4mg, he seems to thing 4mg is too low of a dose for cravings. Have you noticed that coffee intensifies the dose, i told my dr and he told me not to drink coffee for atleast a hour after the dose. I took his orders and dont drink coffee at all anymore. Also how is your sleep pattern, I have noticed that i sleep very very well. He also prescribed me 5mg ambien for the nights that I cannot fall asleep, I try so hard not to take it. I see my dr every 2 weeks for scripts and urine tests, he is extremly strict on the urine tests and only does 2 week scripts never month scripts for anyone. well thats my 2 cents
