plz anyone...what is this pill imprinted dp 857???

Hi....i just found this pill in my medicine cabinet and i have no clue what it is. Any body think they might know? Its a long oblong white pill with a funny looking symbol imprint with numbers that sorta looks like .... dp 857 ....Any ideas????

Does the 'dp' on your tablet look like this logo:

Duramed Pharmaceuticals Original image GSM - Catholic Healthcare West

Logo - Duramed

 

If so, the pill is 1200 mg extended-release guaifenesin, an expectorant.

I think this imprint is discontinued since I can't find much information.

yes thats what the  dp looks like...i can't find anything with those numbers at all either.
