I am not sure (i could be
I am not sure (i could be wrong), but i believe that there is a transformer candy that matches this discription. of course, as the others mentioned it could very well be some illicit substance. all thoughts and opinions expressed are those of my own and should not be mistaken for medical advice. i am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. all medical questions should be answered by a licensed pharmacist, doctor, or primary care manager. MDMA
The mottled (white specks) look of the tablet as well as the well-tracked transformer logo/shape has led at least dman and myself to think this is an ecstasy (X, XTC, MDMA...) tablet. This is an illegal designer drug often associated with "rave" parties. It is a speculation, of course, but informed speculation.
since we're collecting
since we're collecting speculations, I'm leaning more toward a vote for candy. xtacy is rarely any shape other than round and xtacy rarely has this intricate of a design because most xtacy tabs are soft and crumbly. This tab looks hard and durable like a sugar product. no offense
Respect Flounder, but that statement simply isn't true. It may have been true at one time, but the presses these days are artwork. Check out pillreports.com for a wide variety of very intricate illicit logos (including the transformer logo and shape) I'm not saying it's not candy, but you can't go by how hard or soft the tablet is, or the quality of the design. I both agree and disagree
I both agree and disagree with you. Yes, some xtacy tablets are quite intricate, such as the true artwork found in the eastern Mediterranean region. But even today, the majority of illicit tabs of this sort, be it xtacy, BZP, DXM, tryptamines, amphetamines, and their kazillion analogues, are still generally the same ol’ same ol’ produced in Central/Northern Europe (we all know the country) and also from Asia or Americas. As for this tab, at this point, all of this is speculation and this tab could be most anything, children’s vitamin or high-test xtacy. I agree that it would not be
I agree that it would not be good to confuse the two. I think that at this point that it is pretty clear that it is one or the other though (candy or xtc). the only safe way to know for sure is to have the pill tested which potentially could be expensive. I am sure that the original poster can likely safely deduce what the item in question is at this point by using reasonable deduction. That is, if the pill was found in an 80 years house where they are reasonably sure that the only young people at the house were under the age of 10 then there is a pretty decent chance that it is candy. If the item was found at a college apartment where there had been lots of 18-35 year olds (and no kids under the age of 10) then it is reasonable to assume that it is xtc. if the pill was found somewhere in-between... well, then who knows. this said, i am confident that the original poster can make the right call at this point. regardless if it is candy or xtc, if its orgin is unknown then it is probably best to safely dispose of it. the federal government reccomends that you add it to your kitty litter... see for yourself... good informative article today in the associated press... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21641396/ good luck, be smart. all thoughts and opinions expressed are those of my own and should not be mistaken for medical advice. i am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. all medical questions should be answered by a licensed pharmacist, doctor, or primary care manager. i had a hard time understand
i had a hard time understand when i just glanced over the article. i thought to myself "wont the pills hurt the cats if they decided to eat them?". then upon further inspection and reading i realized that they meant that you should consolidate the cat turds with the pills in the garbage. i think that they intend for the cat poop to be a deterrent for potential addicts that dig through peoples garbage. however, after seeing some of the addicts on this board i am not sure that cat poop alone is enough to deter. oh well.... all thoughts and opinions expressed are those of my own and should not be mistaken for medical advice. i am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. all medical questions should be answered by a licensed pharmacist, doctor, or primary care manager. Too Funny, Phisher!

dont worry my friend... per the article i linked to earlier... "Not a cat owner? Old coffee grounds work, or doggie doo, even sawdust. Just seal the meds and the, er, goop in a plastic bag before tossing in the trash." all thoughts and opinions expressed are those of my own and should not be mistaken for medical advice. i am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. all medical questions should be answered by a licensed pharmacist, doctor, or primary care manager. found it
