Opioid Comparison

I've seen a couple of people ask about comparison of one opioid against another and came up with a sample list. I didn't want to lose it and wanted it shared so hopefully this will be a good place as a repository. If there are any mistakes or additions please feel free to add.

This is just a quick comparison so no quoting, as it is only single sourced. Also amounts shown are only for comparison in relation to each other.

I've been here quite a few times, but this is my first post.

This site has helped me alot over the last couple of years. Don't wanna take something if you don't know what it is.

Anyway, I've been taking hydrocodone, oxycodone, and oxycontin (40-140mg per day)since I started having dental work done just over 2 years ago. Then for a blatter infection, then for stress at work, until now. (unemployed)I just take them to keep from feeling sick. I've had enough of feeling crummy when I can't find a pill(or20) so I decided I'd just try to give em up.Finally! took my last oxy yesterday morning.(I HOPE)

My question is... well i guess there are a few questions:

are meprezine or darvacet opiates?

Will they help with the withdrawals?

Or should I just tough it out?

Thanks for letting me rant. I'm goin bleepin crazy here....

GO WINGS!!!!

Pseuodoephedrine daily limit

Hello all and thanks in advance for any replies.

I found two blister packs of generic otc sinus pills containing 30mg pseudoepehedrine without the box so I dont know the proper dosing or most one should take in a day. Can anyone tell me the most I should take in a day because normally I would take two at a time and they only last like 3 or 4 hours and dont want to be hurting my organs by taking 12 a day.

Translation needed

Please translate these instructions. The only part I understand is 'prn'.

Directions on a prescription for naproxen 550 mg:

Sig: TQ8HX48H, then prn

Thanks for the help.

In case this is important, the RX is printed with a computer. The T before the Q is slightly lower than the Q. And the T is uppercase but is smaller than the Q, H and X letters.

Endocet 5/325, mixing with codeine

Does it matter if Endocet 5/325 (pretty sure it is a percocet product) is not quite taken as prescribed? With this tablet scored in the middle, and an Rx for take 1 OR 2 as needed for pain, what would be wrong with taking 1 1/2 or one Endocet 5/325 with a leftover Tylenol #3, less narcotic and approx same amount of APAP (300 mg instead of 325).

Perhaps I'm overthinking this...I just want to make the Rx last and save another doc. visit. Any thoughts? Does it ruin the synergy to mix APAP meds?

Thanks for the comments , and advice
